You can support the East-West Chanoyu Center in many ways.
Become a member, make a contribution or participate in a special
event. Your support sustains and enriches the cultural offerings of
our community.

EWCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts and educational
organization. Membership and contributions are tax deductible as
permitted by law.

BECOME A MEMBER
Members enjoy invitations to seasonal tea gatherings, use of
the library by appointment and consultation services. Higher
categories include private tours and travel opportunities.

General Membership (non-EWCC students)
• Individual: [$50]
• Family/household: [$75]
• University/High School Student: [$25]
Benefits include invitations to all EWCC events and special classes
including members-only; and complimentary participation in one
EWCC chakai per calendar year

EWCC-student Membership
• Individual: [$150]
• Family/household: [$250]
Benefits include joining continuing classes and invitations to
EWCC events and special classes

Benefactor Membership
• Friend [$250-499]
Benefits include complimentary participation for two in all
EWCC events in a calendar year
• Patron [$500-$999]
Benefits include complimentary participation in all EWCC events in
a calendar year or private chakai at EWCC for a party of four
• Benefactor [$1,000 and above]
Benefits include complimentary participation in all EWCC events in
a calendar year and a private chakai.
•  Corporate/Institutional Membership: [$1,250 and above]
Benefits include listing/logo of company/institution on EWCC
website, inclusion of company/institution advertisement on EWCC
website/newsletter; invitations to employees of company/institution
to EWCC events; special EWCC demonstration or chakai for
company/institution employees

CONTRIBUTE TO THE ANNUAL FUND
Annual Fund donations provide support for the conservation of the
center's tearooms and collections, as well as general operating
costs. As a donor you will take pride in providing essential revenue
for the daily activities in the life of the center.

powdered tea and the warmth of the tearoom sunken hearth.
